The last Days?


And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I WILL POUR OUT of My Spirit upon all mankind,…” From this extract of the book of Acts 2: 17; It is obvious that we are living in the last days, because the last days began with the first coming of Jesus ( Matthew 1: 18 – 25 ), and will reach their climax at the second coming of Jesus. The mystery of the Kingdom ” …that is, the secret counsels of God which are hidden from the ungodly; but for those outside of our circle everything becomes a parable. ” – Mark 4: 11; Is that the end of this age came, and the Kingdom of arrived, but, to everyone’s surprise, this age didn’t completely end the Kingdom didn’t completely come. Therefore, we live, Yes! Between the beginning of the Kingdom of God and the ” consummation ” of the Kingdom ( Matthew 24 or 25 ).

However, the concept of ” preparedness ” emphasized that, realistic expectations are essential to the success of any venture. If you don’t know what you’re getting into when you start something, you are very liable to discouragement when you’re in the middle of it and you run into difficulties and obstacles. What is true with friends is applicable into Christian’s life. Perhaps, if you become a Christian ( or Christ’s follower ) thinking that you’re never again going to have a struggle against sin, you are going to be sorely disappointed, and perhaps, even despondent and despairing when the reality tells you.

In a sense, the question we have been trying to live as Christians in a time, when the power of the Kingdom has already arrived but not in its fullness, and a time when the end of this fallen age is already over, but not yet fully over? ” And those who deal with this world ( overusing the enjoyments of this life ) as though they were not absorbed by it and as if they had no dealings with it. For the outward form of this world ( the present world order ) is passing away. ” – 1 Corinthians 7: 31 – Furthermore, the inherent transitoriness of human wisdom and teachers quoted in 1 Corinthians 2: 6; But to the fact that they are being brought to nought by God’s rejection of them, and His choice of the ” weak ” things as the means of spreading the Gospel.
