And their honor shall be laid in the dust. God governs the world without permission. There is a righteous God to whom we may go, and on whom we may depend –

We perhaps, have need to pray ” How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes Salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52: 7

” From the time Jesus began to preach, crying out, Repent ( change your mind for the better, heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins ), for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. ” Matthew 4: 17.
This plea of ” Your Kingdom come “ refers most often to the Royal Reign of God rather than the specific geographical territory over which He rules.
As Christians, when spelling out ” Our Lord prayer ” We must remember that we are already Citizens of His Kingdom, and therefore He is already Our King. But are we faithful to that “ election ” as subjects? Or are we rebellious? If We are to pray in the way our Lord instructed, and have Him on the scene instantly; We must be those who live in the way Our Lord instructed!
