” I and my Father are One “

Let there be such a manifest interposition in my behalf today that others may see it, and may be convinced that you are God, and that you are the Protector and Friend – Glorious & Merciful Dearest Father – of those who put their trust in You. – Psalm 86: 17.

Therefore, Jesus declares in John 10: 30I and my Father are One “, that means He can bestow eternal life and blessedness upon those who stand in close living relation with Himself, and between whom and Himself there is mutual recognition and interchanges of Love & Trust.

He bases the claim however, on the fact that the Father’s hands are behind His, and that the Father’s eternal power and Godhead sustain His mediatorial functions and, more than all, that the Father’s Personality and His own Personality are merged in One essence and entity. If be merely meant to imply moral and spiritual union with the Father, or completeness of revelation of the Divine Mind, why should the utterance have provoked such fierce resentment?

” Do not believe me unless I carry out my Father’s work. But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don’t believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father. ” John 10: 37 – 38.
