Seed Gospel: the regrets of the wicked.

Our weekly delight ( joy & pleasure ) in READING comes from the Book of Wisdom 5 : 1 – 7.

” On that day someone righteous full of confidence, will stand before those who oppressed him and made light of his labors.

They will be amazed to see him safe and will tremble with terrible fear.

Then they will regret what they did, and groaning in anguish they will say to each other:

This is the one we made fun of. We thought he was a joke. What fools we were! We thought he was crazy to live the way he did, and when he died, we didn’t honor him.

And now here he is, one of God’s own children, with a place of his own among God’s people.

We were the ones who wandered off the right road. We never lived in the light of righteousness; we never caught the first glimmer of its light.

All our lives we wandered accross unmarked deserts, instead of following the road which the Lord wanted us to travel….”

Please! Please continued reading the Bible! This is Life!!!

However, Revelation 1: 3 ” Happy is the one who reads this book, and happy are those who listen to the words of this prophetic message and obey what is written in this book! For the time is near when all these things will happen. “ How to be assure of the continuous flow of God’s will, and the confidence of being in His presence through His Word?

Joshua 1: 8 ” This Book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. “

It is a duty for us to repeat this over and over. You cannot meditate on the Word without first READING IT, and here it mentions that the ” book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth ” which indicates that it should be ” VERBALLY SPOKEN! The effect of meditating on the word of God and speaking it is so that we may ” observe to do according to all that it written therein “, and that will make it possible to ” make ( our ) way prosperous, and then ( we ) shall have good success. ” The prosperity that this is talking about isn’t financial prosperity necessarily, but has in mind the life of the person who first reads it, then observes it, and finally to know that what is written, in it shows us how we can prosper and be successful, but not by worldly standards, but according to God’s standard ( endless blessings out of His Divine mercy ).
