Professional work ( a physical or mental effort to process some specified task rewarded with a salary ) is a field on which the believer is confronted and represents for him much tensions. – Colossians 3: 23 ” And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, “. The economic pressure requires always more training for higher performances at work. At the same time, the enemy presses us at the extend of confusion by the earthly legitimate activities.


It may be that you would be looking for a job, or you about to decide on a new training course, or perhaps you are monitoring your boss instructions in order to be promoted in your career, or you are struggling with more working hours which prevent you from reading God’s word daily, or may be you have a desire to leave the unbearable working conditions with your current colleagues; you still asking the essence of putting more effort in the carrying of your duty is worth to establish an intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?hw4

Hebrews 12: 2 ” Looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. “
