” The entrance of your words gives light. It gives the understanding to the simple. ” Psalm 119: 130. The entrance of God’s words gives light (or life). No sooner do they gain admission into the soul (heart) than they enlighten it (sensible), or the activation of the perception gift: what light may be expected from their prolonged indwelling. Their very entrance floods the mind with instructions( the awareness of God ) for they are so full, so clear; but, on the other hand, there must be such an entrance, or there will be no illumination( transformation to a new realm; a new set of values ). John 1: 12-13 ” But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name; who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. “
The mere hearing of the word with the external mind is of small value by itself, but when the words of God enter into the chambers of the heart, then light is scattered on all sides( the saturation process) – Mathew 13: 20 ” the one on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, this is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy. “– the word finds no entrance into some minds because they are blocked up with self-conceit, or prejudice, or indifference; but, where due attention is given,by the power of the Holy Spirit; divine illumination must surely follow upon knowledge of the mind of God.- Romans 1: 20 ” For since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes. His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. “ God’s words, like the beams of the sun, may enter through the windows of my understanding, and dispel the darkness of my mind. It gives understanding unto simple
Colossians 3:16 ” Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.” The sincere and candid are the true disciples of the word. To such it gives not only knowledge, but understanding, because God’s ways is broken into the simple,” the common sense “. What a divine power rests in the word of God, since it not only bestows light, but gives that very mental eye (to perceive ) by which the light is received.
When we disposed our heart (whom is a dwelling home of the Spirit ), God’s word quickens the awareness of His knowledge & power; we become” a follower ” after our baptism ( popularly, we are acknowledged as” born again “) – 2 Corinthians 5: 17 ” Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. “, therefore an instrument of God’s righteousness for His glory in our environment.
