God’s goodness!

” To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more.” Psalm 10: 18. The psalmist speaks with astonishment at the “Wickedness of the wicked, and at the patience and forbearance of God.”

The Bible give a clear, complete and comprehensible description of the “ wicked “ in the book of Ephesians 6: 12 ” For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. “Let me renewed the mind of Christians, the wicked (popularly known as satan) is the only responsible of wrong thought, deed, all type of malice against the spreading of the Gospel, in other words, the Salvation of the humanity through our Father Jesus Christ. If this is understood,  his wickedness is all permanent  mind blowing activities with the ultimate aim of destroying God’s people and his kingdom.

The wickedness of the wicked as quoted in the book of Psalm 7: 9 ” Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous, their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.” We must know that the nature of the wicked prompt him to accuse Christians without any reason. When this occurred Christians should fled to God for succour as Kind DAVID did, because Christ alone could call on heaven to attest his uprightness in all things – All his works were wrought in righteousness, and princes of this world found nothing whereof justly to accuse him.

In the contrast, the patience & forbearance of God are God’s response to the random destruction nature of the wicked. In facts, God is patient, I am not. I am learning patience. God is patience. I am developing patience. God is displaying his. 2 Peter 3: 8-10 “…The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance…” However, God’s patience and forbearance ought to lead men & women to repentance (the victim and the perpetrator). Instead, it embodies the unbeliever in his sinful rebellion and mocking of God. God prepares the heart for ” prayer “hw4  (1 John 5:14 ” This is the confidence we have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”), by kindling holy desires and strengthening our most holy faith, fixing the thoughts, and raising the affections, and then he graciously accepts the prayer. The preparation of the heart is from the Lord and we must seek unto him for it – Proverbs 16: 1-3 “…The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from Yahweh.” Let the poor afflicted, persecuted, or tempted believer recollect that satan is the prince of this world, and he is the father of all ungodly. The children of God cannot expect kindness, truth or justice from such persons as crucified the Lord of Glory. But this once suffering Jesus now reigns as King over all the earth, and of his dominion there shall be no end. Isaiah 9: 6 ” For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us, and the government will rest on his shoulders, and his name will be called Wonderful counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of peace.”

Let us commit ourselves unto him, humbly trusting in his mercy – Psalm 25: 6-7 ” Remember, o Lord, your tender mercies and your loving kindnesses…remember me for your goodness sake, o Lord! “. He will rescue the believer from every temptation, and break the arc of every wicked oppressor, and bruise satan under our feet shortly. But in heaven alone all sin and temptation be shut out. In this life the believer has a foretaste of deliverance.1 Corinthians 6: 20 ” For you have been bought with o price; therefore glorify God in your body.” Your body indeed is part of Christ’s body which is the Church.
