Hearers & worshipers of God’s word: world leaders

The book of Psalm 138 verse 5 ” Yes, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord. “Here is a double wonder. Kings in God’s ways, and Kings singing there. Let a man once know the ways of Jehovah, and he will find abundant reason for song. But the difficulty is to bring the great ones of the earth into ways so little attractive to the carnal (unconverted men; enmity against God) – Romans 8: 6 – 7 ” So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and never will. “

Perhaps, when the Lord send us a King David to preach, we shall yet see Monarchs converted and hear their voices raised in devout adoration (recognition of his transcendent excellence), for great is the glory of the Lord – Psalm 145: 3 “Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised, and his greatness is ( so vast and profound as to be) unsearchable ( incomprehensible to man).”

Absolutely, the Glory of God shall overshadow all the greatness of glory of all Kings put together. They shall be stirred ( to change, or to be disturbed) by a sight of it to obey and adore that Jehovah’s Glory were revealed even now! Oh! that the blind eyes of men could  once behold it, then their hearts would be subdued (overcome, quieted or control) to joyful reverence.

King David under a sense of Jehovah’s Glory exclaimed in Psalm 138: 1 ” I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart; I will sing your praises before the gods “, and here he represents the Kings (rulers of the earth) as doing the same thing.
