Unity: The ultimate gift

Ephesians 4:13 “..until  we all attain to the unity of the faith, and to the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”

Man’s mind referring to UNION or UNITY agrees that it is oneness, either created by putting together, or by being undivided. The state or inherent quality of being one, single individual. However, from this man consciousness we easily understand why institutions such as United Nations; Europeans Union; …Africans Union assumed that unity is an unreachable commodity for the simple and only reason that those well established institutions are yet unacquainted with GOD, they still carnally minded loving this present world and state of things, looking back to it with a lingering eye; full of pride and guile, filled with lusts, such a soul (institutions) would seem to have mistaken its way, place state and company.

Perhaps, for the carnal this an uneasy truth Jesus Christ is the ultimate MEDIATOR of this new covenant-UNITY-between God and Man, to bring them together in his covenant, to keep them together, to plead with God for us and to plead with us for God, and at length to bring God and his people together in heaven (salvation). This covenant is made firm by the blood of Christ sprinkled upon our consciences as the blood of the sacrifice was sprinkled upon the altar and the victim, this blood speaks in behalf of sinners (MAN), it pleads not for vengeance, but for MERCY & LOVE.For sure, unity can only be achieved humanly speaking if we have Faith in the Son of God (1 John 5:1-5), best through the Knowledge of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:2).

Jesus Christ is the Great Authority (I AM), the only path to heaven, the only true measure of righteousness and the source of both physical and spiritual life. John 17:23 “…I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.”
